A brief introduction to who I am and what I do.
I'm a Civil Engineer and Inspection Specialist with a passion for ensuring structural integrity and construction quality. Currently based in New York, I work on major infrastructure projects including JFK Airport, NJ Transit, and NYC coastal resiliency initiatives.
With a Master's in Engineering Management from Trine University and a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from Leading University, I bring both technical expertise and leadership to every project. My experience spans reinforced concrete inspection, geotechnical exploration, and quality assurance testing.
Beyond engineering, I have a strong background in design tools โ from AutoCAD and SketchUp for technical drawings to Adobe Creative Suite and Figma for visual communication.

Unbonded Concrete Cylinder & Cube Compression Testing
Technical expertise in evaluating the compressive strength of concrete through Unbonded Cylinder and Cube Compression Testing. Proficient in managing the curing process, preparing specimens and operating hydraulic compression machines. Proven track record in monitoring loading rates and documenting break patterns to ensure structural concrete meets design PSI specifications.
Flexural Strength of Concrete
Specialized in the evaluation of concrete tensile capacity through Flexural Strength Testing (Modulus of Rupture). Proficient in casting and curing beam specimens and performing third-point loading tests in accordance with ASTM C78 to verify that structural slabs and pavements meet the specific design requirements for resistance to cracking and heavy loading.
Capping Cylindrical Concrete Specimens
Expertise in the preparation and capping of cylindrical concrete specimens to ensure compliance with ASTM C617 and ASTM C1231. Highly proficient in both bonded sulfur mortar capping and unbonded neoprene pad systems. Dedicated to achieving precise planeness and perpendicularity standards to guarantee the integrity of compressive strength data for high-strength structural concrete.
Soil Testing
Proficient in geotechnical laboratory and field testing for soil characterization, including moisture content, grain size analysis (Sieve & Hydrometer), and Specific Gravity. Experienced in performing Standard and Modified Proctor tests to determine moisture-density relationships and evaluating soil plasticity through Atterberg Limits (LL, PL, PI). Skilled in systematic soil sampling and data interpretation to ensure compliance with project QA/QC specifications and ASTM standards.
Floor Flatness & Levelness (FF / FL) Testing
Technical expert in Floor Flatness (FF) and Floor Levelness (FL) testing using digital profilographs in accordance with ASTM E1155.
Nuclear Gauge Testing
APNGA certified for portable nuclear gauge safety. Conducted in-place density verification using nuclear gauge instrumentation for soil, asphalt, and concrete materials on active construction sites.
